The History

The ancient complex lays in the Chianti senese, not far form Castellina. It is situated in a magical setting with 10 acres of large vineyards edged by suggestive rows of cypress trees and a thick wood of oaks that borders the houses. It offers the chance to discover old pathways, ponds and waterfalls, where you can easily see deers, ducks, or birds.

The houses, recentely restored, have been decorated with much charme, enhancing its old world character: low beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces, traditional small cottage windows, stonebuilt kitchen. Furnishing and details chosen make the houses cosy and warm in harmony with the quiet of the place. The swimming pool (14 x 3.5 m.), made in travertine, takes shape in the natural hollow formed by the convergence of the waters, of which the original traces remain. The construction offers six flats, suitable to meet various accomodation demand. Each flat has french doors out to secluded private garden, with table and chairs, ideal for relaxing, barbecue area with equippmenmt provided.

Valeria & Giacomo
About Us

We are Giacomo and Valeria and fell in love with this unspoilt, green and magic hamlet many years ago; instantly we knew that this was where we wanted to spend our free time. We achieved our dream of restoring it to family houses, in which our friends and guests could relax in confort. We still get a thrill when we reach the crest of the hill, see our house nestling amongst the cypress trees we planted and wave to Tony, our wonderful farming helper, as he finishes ploughing for the evening, or picking the olives. It is a very different lifestyle to living in a city.. We have been letting the houses for ten years and have enjoyed seeing others fall in love with the area and return to us again and again. We live just 20 minutes far away, but we are on handy if you need anything.
